Pacific Sands, Inc. Hires Michel Michie as VP of Sales and Marketing

Racine, WI - Pacific Sands, Inc. (OTCBB: PFSD) announced that the company has hired Michel Michie VP of Sales and Marketing for its EcoOne line of nontoxic water treatment and cleaning products.

Michie (43) has had a breath of experience in the disciplines of education and business. He has contributed to the sales success of a major “Fortune 10” chemical company as well as an emerging high technology company. He brings to the table a wealth of knowledge and background in the areas of finance, administration and demand creation.

“This is a rare and exciting opportunity,” Mr. Michie expressed. “The environmental alternative solutions marketplace has yet to be fully developed. There is a tremendous, largely unfulfilled, demand for products that offer a viable ‘environment and health-safe’ alternative to consumers at a competitive price. We look forward to fulfilling that demand.”

Pacific Sands President, Mick Wynhoff added that the company has a substantially developed suite of Eco One pool, spa, water treatment, cleaning and pet care products that are tested, packaged, labeled and ready for marketing. He added that the company will focus its efforts on developing the pool and spa marketplace first, stating, “EcoOne should be a leader in the alternative pool and spa chemical marketplace. Our products are the best alternatives available. The missing ingredient has always been marketing, and now we’ll have it.”

Mr. Michie, also a member of the Board of Directors, stated that the company’s new manufacturing and warehouse facility in Racine, WI will be operational by Tuesday, July 6.
